Sentiment from the players of the playgrpund
just have to see what these Thai and Cambodian girls look like. To some extent, a $5 a pop, who cares. I have been with two very hott Thai girls (not at the same time - I ain't no Love Machine Lou) at Artemis in Berlin, for 60 euros a pop, and that would cover a month in Cambodia it seems.
As for Brazil, they are just getting too prosperous, is the root of it - too much like a First World country. You're right that 2014 and 2016 will make things even worse. And the Europeans are or have fucked up their economy similarly to us.
Fortaleza, not counting my white and blue collar crime problems, can be OK, with R$95 a shag at Prive Bellissima, but that is not a place that you can hang around. The Praia da Iracema places are, but that is the Help scene, there is nothing there like good termas.
Sao Paulo has lots of online escorts that look great, and I have seen some very hott ones on the street (I assume - hope - not trannies). Bahamas and BomBoa have a great selection, but prices are higher than Rio - even comparing what I paid a couple of years ago to Rio today.
Porto Alegre is nice - a good termas - Karandache, a good club, Carmen's (but expensive) and lots of online escorts. Mina (Belo Horizonte) was nothing much and no bargain, and Recife was a bust, getting ripped off by both garotas and taxi drivers. I had that close call in Santa Maria, RS due their credit card machine supposedly not working.
Even now, Rio is still the best in Brazil, but that is more of a statement about how much less attractive Brazil is, than how great Rio is.
Americans going elswhere in Brazil will likely be disappointed and have the problem of being more likely to be ripped off - in Rio, paradoxically, the large number of gringos means less ripoff (not talking about actual crime, but just shady providers, etc.) while places where Americans are rare means - let's go get them.
Colombia might be a good place. There is a conference there in Cartagena in October, but I don't see myself going because of my teaching schedule (Saturday class - my least favorite thing).
