I explain I have no money for a taxi. Thais tells me that they will take me back to the hotel (2 min ride - no skin off their nose). She stashes the two cervejas under the table and I tell her to share them with her friend. I go out the door, hand over my paper, am asked if I want a taxi. I explain again that I have no money because the credit card doesn't work. A guy from Top Club does show up and drives me back to the hotel (about 1 km - I could walk except it is pitch black and via a highway only, on the outskirts of the town). He tells me that thieves have stolen the wire need for the credit card connection; probably true out here in the boonies.

So I am dropped off at the hotel with R$0.15 in total, and no orgasm for me (good deal for Thais, though, gets two drinks to her credit and orgasm). However, the thought of having the shit beat out of oneself tends to deflate the little guy.

The girls there are hot, but this was more excitement than I need, and R$381 (including taxi) is no bargain. I have one night in POA and then back home. I will go to Karandache and then call suaveveneno.

The bottom line is the only place in Brazil I actually like, besides Rio, is POA, but unless you are interested only in white chicks, it is not worth the extra airfare from Rio or SP.
